With the deeply development of new curriculum reform, education reform is to convert from exam-oriented education to quality education, chemistry education pays more attention to inquiry experiment teaching, knowledge about the inquiry learning more and more arouses people’s attention,"the Ordinary High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard (Experiment)" also defined the requirement of the students’inquiry ability more clearly and specificly, which requires the teachers pays more attention to the cultivation of the students’ ability to explore in the usual teaching. Facing the new requirements, the traditional chemistry teaching mode doesn’t work. In view of the current literature studies about the extracurricular inquiry experiment are less, So the author based on the research on textbook contents, with explore the experiment as the breakthrough point, the purpose which the research and development of some chemical extracurricular inquiry experiment is to assist the teacher’s teaching better.This paper, on the basis of the study of relevant literature, summarized the concept and type of extracurricular inquiry experiment, summarizes the characteristics of extracurricular inquiry experiment and the function of teaching; with the method of literature research and comparative analysis of the syllabus and Curriculum Comparison and Study on extracurricular inquiry experiment content,and analysis of the two on the difference between the experimental requirements of course;compared with the before and after the curriculum reform of chemical textbooks,the auther found that there are some disadvantages, such as the few of extracurricular inquiry experiment case. On the basis of predecessors’ research, constructivist theory, teaching theory as the instruction and cognitive assimilation theory, for the development of scientific, feasibility and security principle,the author chooses to develop the corresponding inquiry experiment content of experiment contents in the textbook to supplement, developed3extracurricular inquiry experiments, innovation experiment of the reaction of sodium and water, edible iodized salt simple identification method and iodine ion in kelp test series experiment. The series experiments of kelp iodine ion include forms of iodine in kelp, determination of iodine in kelp, kelp extract solvent recovery of iodine in CCl4preparation and regeneration of activated carbon made by sunflower and so on. Studied on the developed experiments, corresponding teaching application suggestions are given, these extracurricular inquiry experiment can be used as an important supplementary materials, teaching content of the compulsory part of creating teaching situations and advocate the new learning style and subject, etc.The innovation experiment of reaction of sodium and water is on the basis of the development of expanding type experiment in the teaching material, the experiment of development of extensity is to cultivate students’ thinking.KI test paper can be used as the recognition of edible iodized salt. This paper applied convenience, can make the experiment more interesting; In the development of kelp iodine ion test series experiment, the purpose is to make students to use chemical knowledge to solve problems in real life, cultivate students’ interest for chemical knowledge; the experimental design, the recovery of CC14solvent from Seaweed extract iodine experiment, embodies the concept of green chemisty, experimental instruments and equipment which is simple, low cost and easy operability. Development of two quantitative experiments can develop the students’ ability of experiment design, data processing and analysis and solving problem skills. The development of these experiments have far-reaching significance, which is beneficial to students in the independent, cooperative and inquiry learning, make the smooth implementation of new curriculum reform, improve the students’ scientific literacy.
