| In the new round of curriculum reform, our teaching ideas constantly are updatedand teaching forms are varied while some problems are being revealed. For example,there is a tendency of being impetuous and formalized behind the cooperationactivities. Blindly pursuing some classroom goals makes the teaching random andinefficient. The teachers also encounter some confusion and difficulty in the revisionclass teaching: large capacity, tight time, heavy task, high requirements. Themechanical repetition in the classes makes the top students bored and the studentssleepy who fall behind in the studying. These teaching problems make us teachersthinking about: how to improve the effectiveness of our classroom teaching, whichwill be studied in this paper.The first part of this paper briefly expounds the aim and meaning. Since therevision classes are playing an important part in the math teaching of senior highschool, it is of significance to give the revision classes. How to make the classes vivid,to make them function to the extent and to improve the actual effect becomes thequestion to be solved for the teachers. This paper will analyze and comment on themeaning of studying the actual effects of the math revision teaching of senior highschool, which includes three parts: the need of the new curriculum reform, thenecessity of match studying for senior high school students and senior high schoolmathematics teachingThe second part is the theoretical foundation of the whole paper. On the one hand,it analyzes the basic theories of the revision class teaching and defines its actual effectincluding three elements of practical results, real benefits and teaching efficiency. Onthe other hand, this part also analyzes the present situation of the research into thesenior high school mathematics teaching. Recently, the experts at home and abroadattach importance to the revision teaching, do lots of research about the teachingmethods and models of the senior high school mathematics teaching and reachedconsensuses. For example, students should be treated as the main body in the classeswhile teachers play a role of their guide. The students’ subjective initiative should bepulled out fully and the interest of studying mathematics should be aroused. Bycontrast, the teachers’ research on guiding the learning methods and studying thestudent statuses is not enough, especially on periodic revision math classes. The third part, on the theoretical basis, mainly talks about the survey on thepresent situation of senior high school mathematics teaching and concludes fivereasons for influencing the actual effects of senior high school mathematics revisionclasses, which are as follows. The teachers ignore the idea that different students learnmathematics in different ways. The students have no enough time to learnmathematics by themselves mainly because the teachers monopolize it. Besides, thesimple teaching model easily makes the revision classes become practice classes. Yetthere has been very little research into the teaching methods of senior high schoolmathematics revision classes. And also the teachers pay little attention to guiding thestudents how to learn.In the fourth part, in order to improve the teaching, strengthen the pertinence andpredictability and enhance the actual effect, the author presents some teachingstrategies according to the survey and teaching experience from the experts at homeand abroad. Firstly, pay more attention to the student statues to improve the actualeffects of the revision classes through the periodical revision in senior one and twoand three rounds of revision in senior three. Secondly, choose the flexible teachingmodels. With the rolling method, the students’ memories can be waked after a periodof revision and the learned knowledge can be consolidated. It also makes up for thedeficiency due to the short time and passive learning, thus improving the students’ability of analyzing and dealing with the questions. Thirdly, optimize teachingmethods in six aspects, that is, grasping the overall revision teaching, designing thequestion groups, test lets, solution groups and homework, explaining the test papers.Fourthly, strengthen the guidance of learning strategies. The teachers can lead thestudents to learn autonomously and cooperatively and help them learn how to reflecton their studying.
