One of the indicators of scientific literacy is "The understanding on the scientific research process and method ". Model and modeling method is widely used in natural science and social science. There are a lot of models in high school biology curriculum in China. By using the models, we can enhance students’ understanding of models, idea of modeling and ability to structure and apply the model, cultivate theirs’ inquiry ability at the same time. However, model method has not received enough attention in biology teaching in senior high school, and few studies have been related to model. Mathematical model as one of the models is less concerned. Therefore, research on current situation and the mathematical model of high school biology teaching is of great theoretical and practical significance.This study is divided into three parts:the first part is the definition of the concept, the definition of "model","model","mathematical model"connotation. The second part is summarized learning theory, to lay a theoretical foundation for this research, ensure the teaching process is scientific and in line with the students learning rules. The third part is the present situation of middle school teaching model of teaching middle school teachers model analysis. The fourth part is classified, for example on the mathematical model of the biology teaching in the middle school, and to design a model of biology teaching in the middle school mathematics teaching. In the action research, the mathematical model is obtained for students learning effect. It is hoped that the study can provide a reference to middle school teachers.
