"Model and modeling" is an important content of scientific thinking,which is one of the core qualities of high school subjects in the "general high school biology curriculum standard" issued in 2017.At present,model teaching has become one of the hot spots in education research.The mathematical model in the model is the introduction of mathematical thinking into biology,which not only strengthens the interrelationship between disciplines,but also simplifies and abstracts some complex biological knowledge into concrete by using mathematical model in classroom teaching,which helps students better understand and master knowledge and cultivate modeling thinking.Therefore,in teaching,teachers should pay attention to the use of mathematical models to cultivate students' modeling thinking and ability.Firstly,this study elaborates the research background from three aspects: the requirements of new curriculum standards,biology classroom teaching and the needs of college entrance examination,and determines the research purpose,significance,ideas and methods.Based on the review of relevant literature and the analysis of the current situation of mathematical model research,this paper summarizes the meaning,classification and general process of mathematical model,and introduces the relevant theoretical basis to lay the foundation for the construction of mathematical model teaching design.Then,on the basis of the previous scholars' research on model classification,taking the mathematical models involved in the senior high school biology textbook of people's Education Edition(2019 Edition)as an example,according to the different mathematical tools and representation methods,we sort out and classify them,and introduce the characteristics,functions and applicable teaching contents of each type of mathematical model in detail.According to the general design steps,principles and Strategies of mathematical modeling,combined with inquiry teaching,a process suitable for high school biology mathematical model teaching design is constructed.The process is mainly composed of four parts: creating situation,introducing topic,guiding inquiry,establishing model,demonstrating model,analyzing application,summarizing and improving.On this basis,according to the type of mathematical model,select the appropriate chapter content for teaching case design.During the teaching practice,194 students in the first grade of Shengze high school in Wenshang County,Jining City,Shandong Province were taken as the research objects to test the teaching practice of the second class of "cell proliferation".Before practice,the pre-test questionnaire was compiled to test the homogeneity of the students in the experimental group and the control group.The experimental group adopted the teaching design of the mathematical model constructed.The control group carried out the traditional conventional teaching.After practice,the post-test questionnaire was used for testing.The relevant data was processed and analyzed by spss23.0 software.The results show that there is little difference in basic knowledge between using the teaching design of building mathematical model to carry out teaching and traditional conventional teaching,but in the aspect of comprehensive applied knowledge,the teaching design of mathematical model has better teaching effect and can better cultivate students' ability of comprehensive applied knowledge and mathematical modeling.Therefore,we can selectively apply it to the teaching process according to the teaching content.
