With the advent of the knowledge-based economy, the competition among enterprisesincreasingly grow, knowledge-based staff play more and more important role to the corecompetitiveness of enterprises, the development of knowledge-based workers’ ability andpotential has become the important tasks and objectives of corporate training. Learned throughliterature that performance technology is increasingly applied in the corporate training, mainlyconcentrated in the E-training platform development and E-learning course design, lessconcerned about the differences of the training objects, and many studies of corporate trainingare from the perspective of business management, very few focus on the corporate training’svocational education attributes. Corporate training is an important part in the vocational areas, ithas the unique educational theory and methods, under the guidance of vocational educationteaching theory, with use of performance-related theories and methods, this study selectsknowledge workers designers in company A for object, to carry out performance technology-based practical research of corporate training.Based upon the present situation analysis of knowledge-based staff training in Company A,the thesis analyze the performance gap of designer training in this company with performancetechnology method. The cause of performance gaps is analyzed through observation,questionnaires, interviews and the author’s in-depth experience, based on it, combined with theknowledge workers’ study and work characteristics, under the guide of vocational educationteaching theory, the solutions to problems has been improved in terms of teaching means andnon-teaching means, and the improved training programs has been put into implementation. Thetraining outcomes data show that improved training performance has significantly improved.Finally, on the basis of performance technology, the author summarizes the process ofknowledge-based staff training and believes that performance analysis is a prerequisite to makethe corporate training change to real performance, it requires not only the intervention of theteaching methods but also the co-ordination of non-teaching methods, and the intervention ofnon-teaching methods tend to play a more important role in the training of knowledge workers.Based on the conclusion of the study, the author gives five proposals to the development and change of vocational education in schools, and prospects the performance technology’sdevelopment and applications in corporate training, I believe that the training of knowledgeworkers in enterprise will be the highlight of the study of corporate training, and performancetechnology professionals will gradually become standing talents, which to promote thepopularization and application of performance technology in the enterprise.
