Youth smoking is a prominent social issues in today’s world,in contemporary China.In recent ten years, according to a survey around the world to see, teenagers’ smokingrates are rising, in our country, have3every smoker in five started smoking at the age of15to20. Teenagers is in a special period of development, is undergoing importantphysiological, psychological, cognitive and emotional changes, these changes could causechanges in their behavior, and is likely to lead to the occurrence of bad behavior. Thisphenomenon has aroused many researchers’ attention, in psychology, medicine andeducation work also appeared a lot of discussion in the field of influence factors of teensmoking.College level education is acceptable for the students in higher vocational colleges,the students’ quality is uneven. Resulting in after they stepped into the gate, learningattitude, this also is easy to make them produce psychological inferiority complex, makingit easy to get into the habit of smoking. This article under the framework of social work,personal and social environment of two fields from teenagers to discuss the cause of theteenagers start smoking, and through literature, questionnaire survey and individualinterview to students of higher vocational school to learn hard comprehensiveunderstanding, on the basis of the Suggestions of how to make youth smoking preventionand intervention.
