Through the investigation of the present situation of sports teaching safety toSuzhou’s Junior and senior middle schools,we found that there is a large proportion ofsports injury and the type of injury are sprain, bruise,and fracture; There are manyreasons for the Sports injuries happened; Safety education is in the basic state of loss.Its form is single and it’s not intimate with sports teaching safety; Place repair is not timely, the frequency of facilities safety’s inspection is not high. Sports safety awarenessof teachers and students is high, but it just stay at the surface.3. Sports teaching skills are the fundamental factors that influence teaching safetyproblems.， Fifty percent PE teachers think that the effect the teaching skills to sportsteaching safety is very important through the investigation and thirty percent is fairlyimportant and only twenty percent is little effect or make no difference; Through theinvestigation to PE teachers they think that the order of influence degree of physicalteaching skills to sports teaching safety from big to small are protection and coachingskills of sports, instructional design skill, classroom teaching skill, observing andunderstanding the students skill,how to deal with sports injury and motor skills.The advise to the problems above:1.
