Legalawareness of the phenomenon of law and the legal system is aperception point of view and attitude is a special kind of socialconsciousness. Citizens once the lack of awareness of the law to adapt tothe modern legal system, a society governed by the rule of law will bedifficult to continue to move forward. College students are the pillars ofthe construction of socialist legal system, the hope of the nation and thefuture. Improving the students’ awareness of the law, is an important partof building a society governed by the rule of law. Minority collegestudents is a national high-quality talent, plays an important role in theeconomic development of ethnic minority areas, promote minoritycultures and safeguard the stability of the ethnic minority areas. In Inner Mongolia, Mongolian students as an important force to promote thedevelopment of the nation, the legal quality of the training can not beignored. Efforts to train minority college students awareness of the lawon construction of the rule of law in China has a very importantsignificance. This paper describes the legal awareness of the meaning,structure, function, and describes the meaning and structure of theStudents’ awareness of the law. Mongolian University Students surveyInner Mongolia Normal University in the school for sampling survey, atotal of450questionnaires were distributed, a total of424questionnaireswere recovered, the recovery rate was94.2%,414valid questionnaires,the effective rate was97.6%. The questionnaire is divided into six partsa total of30questions, from basic cognitive law, abide by the law, theuse of legal awareness of legal rights and legal evaluation to investigatethe respondents. Legal awareness research to understand the legalawareness of the status quo of the Mongolian University Students andMongolian University Students lack of knowledge of the law, a weaklegal concepts lack of legal beliefs. Analysis of the cause of thegenerated combination of the psychological characteristics of theMongolian University Students, living habits, create a good socialenvironment of the rule of law, improving the rule of law education inschools, to enrich the knowledge of the law, enhance the legal educationof parents, cultivate faith in the law to enhance Mongolia ethnic students’ awareness of the law put forward countermeasures.
