Psychological capital(PsyCap), core contract of positive organizational behavior,is consist of self-efficacy, hope, optimism, resilience and other positive psychologicalability. Because of the confirmed influence in work attitude, work behavior andperformance, PsyCap is now wildly used in organizational management and someentrepreneurial research area. Entrepreneurial Psychological Capital(EPC), is theextension of PsyCap theory into the entrepreneurial research. Nowadaysentrepreneurial behavior of college student is well welcomed and encouraged by theChinese government and the society. It is of multiple theoretical and practical meaningto use psychological capital theory in the study of college students’entrepreneurialintention. In this study, I revised the Psychological CapitalQuestionnaire(PCQ)(Luthans et al) on the basis of the entrepreneurial background, inorder to investigate the current situation of college students’ entrepreneurialpsychological capital, and its relationship to entrepreneurial intention. The results goas follows:1.The ‘Entrepreneurial Psychological Capital (EPC) Questionnairehas fourdimensions, which areentrepreneurial self-efficacy, optimism, hope and resilience. The internal consistence reliability and the fit index of confirmatory factor analysisare testified to meet the psychological statistic standard.2. EPC among university students surveyed is in the mid to upper level. Thescore of the four dimensions from high to low are optimism, hope, resilience andself-efficacy. EPC has no significant differences in gender. But science students’ EPCis significantly higher than art students’ both in total score and each dimension.3.There is a positive correlation between entrepreneurial self-efficacy, optimism, hope resilience and EI (all are significant at the0.001level).The standardizedregression coefficient of EPC toward EI is higher than any of the four dimensions. That indicates the EPC, as a high level core contract, has the better predictive power ofthe EI than each of the other dimensions.
