30years of reform and opening up later, China’s comprehensive nationalstrength has greatly improved, meanwhile, with the development of society,the international competition is becoming increasingly fierce. The progress ofthe society asks for higher request to the talents. And in the new situation,how to adapt to the new century education to the needs of the development ofeducation workers is a worldwide common topic. Middle school historyeducation undertakes the priority task of training talents.This paper through the middle school history curriculum targetcomprehensive comparative analysis, so as to effectively adapt the UnitedStates middle school history curriculum goal reasonable factors, toacceleration of China’s middle school history teaching process of theinternationalization of social transformation, and providing morecomprehensive talents.There are three parts of this paper. The introduction part of the maincontent of the thesis focused on the research significance, the research presentsituation and development trend, research objectives, and plans to solveproblems, etc. The text consists of three parts: the first part reviews China andthe United States the general situation of the development of historycurriculum, and the two countries of the history curriculum of the changes and development in detail since the end of the world war ii; The second part isabout China and the United States middle school history curriculum targetdetailed comparative analysis, from basic knowledge goal, ability trainingtarget, emotional attitude and values goal on three levels: the comparison ofthe two countries, and the history curriculum goal differences of the reason ofthe inquiry; The third aspect in the second part is conducted on the basis offurther analysis, and learn from American history course objective can beused for reference of the place, and put forward the corresponding proposal.The epilogue part in text is about the two countries’ middle school historycurriculum goal on the basis of comparative analysis, further extended out itsrealistic significance.
