Student community project is an important measure of student personality’s training, isan important condition for students’ growth. However, the implementation and research ofstudent community project in the vocational school are still in the immature stage. There isalso little research on this project; therefore, the topic is of high challenging and innovativefeatures, also with theoretical and practical significance. This thesis firstly learns experiencefrom other countries’ student community project, and then, uses questionnaire survey,literature method and interview method. Taking the current situation of Fushan Zonevocational schools’ Car Fan clubs as example, this thesis tries to find out and analyze theexisting problems, at the aim of exploring the strategies to build student community projectwhich is of Chinese characteristics.The introductory section describes the theoretical and practical significance of this thesis,and then lists the research methods and innovation viewpoint; the first part is researchsummary of student community project of Yantai vocational school, and then leads tofurther description at follows; The second part describes the problems of student communityproject of Yantai vocational school and then analyze its disadvantages; The third sectionmakes further analysis on the current station, existing problems and reasons from theoreticaland practical perspectives; lastly, it leads to the fourth part of the article: how to improve thereform of student community project, including teamwork, usage of collective intelligence,effective incentive mechanism and perfecting of project process.This study concluded that the application of project teaching in community activities isnot very extensive, but this method was able to practice all aspects of quality of theassociation’s members. This approach not only practice the abilities of the members, but alsoimprove their mental qualities, such as design ability. Project Approach in the communitymakes the theory and practice combine closely, the activities of societies is no longer onlylistening to lectures which is rigid and boring. But on the other hand, applying projectapproach to clubs’ activities, there are some conditions. Clubs’s project activities should beoperable, teamwork and it can be devided into several steps. The project approach can providegood solutions to the problems which happen in the clubs’ project activities. The projectmethod can improve the organization and the members’s relationship, which help members tobecome the masters of the activities. At the same time, the project approach encouragesstudents to gain more knowledge, more exercise, to have a better development.Implementation of the "project approach" must be step-by-step, fully encourage the students’interest in learning and students’ initiative. The teachers’ responsibility is only to providesuggestions and guidance, when students need. Schools should establish a new curriculumideas, and improve organization, management features, support conditions, evaluation system,in order to promote the apply of project approach into club’s project activities.
