Research On Present Situation Of The Educational Function Of Student Clubs In Secondary Vocational Schools And The Countermeasures

This paper focuses on the present situation and problems of the educational function of student clubs in C secondary vocational school in Yanbian,and proposes countermeasures accordingly.With the deepening of educational system reform and the expanding of enrollment,student clubs in vocational schools have become more and more popular on campus for their unique ideological,artistic,intellectual and enjoyable features.It is now a major carrier of campus culture.Thus its educational function is significant to campus culture construction and cultivation of student’s comprehensive capacity.Taking 50 teachers and 297 students in C secondary vocational school in Yanbian as samples.Based on investigations,interviews,literature reviews,and related theories,problems of the educational function of student clubs and effect factors concerned are analyzed,and an adequate educational orientation of student clubs in secondary vocational school and proposals of countermeasures to further improvement of student club functions with unique features are proposed herein this paper.Conclusions have been made as follows:1)the educational function of student clubs on a general level,has the characteristics of ’Two High and One Low",in other words the function of the ideological and political function and the function of the cultivation of innovative spirit and practical ability on a general level,and the function of career guiding not substantial enough,on a low lever;2)teachers’ school age,professional title,instruction experience are not various in secondary vocational schools,Teacher’s academic-practical competency is in various.The function of the ideological and political function and the function of career guiding is not various,the function of the cultivation of innovative spirit is in various.Countermeasures are offered on the basis of the above conclusion:1)to advance the concept of school,to improve understanding and strengthen the efficiency of ideological function;to strength of support,to construct the leading club;to a reasonable positioning of professional clubs of students;2)to consolidate the construction of instructor teams;to strict the instructor certification system and teacher’s professional training plan;to make long term stimulation mechanism;3)to strength the management of professional student clubs;to strength the efforts to guide;to strength the efforts to training.
