The Research On The Present Situation And Development Countermeasure Of The Kungfu Elective Course Teaching In Universities In Xi’an

This paper has fully used the literature material, expert interview, questionnairesurvey, mathematical statistics, observation and other methods. The author hasinvestigated the overall conditions of Kungfu elective course in some universities inXi ’an, which includes the teaching quality of college Kungfu elective course, coursearrangement, teaching effect, teaching contents, assessment methods, students’interests and hobbies, etc. At the same time, this papper tries to figure out the relevantreasons and problems for not carrying out Kungfu elective course in universities.Finally, the author has put forward some reasonable countermeasures and suggestionsthat Kungfu elective course should adopt. Above all, the author hopes that Kungfuelective course can be an essential part in sports education in universities, and thushelp students be healthy mentally and physically, and also know more about the spiritof Kungfu. The ultimate purpose of this paper to promote the inheritage anddevelopment of Kungfu. The research shows:1, The teaching periods of Kungfu elective course if far from enough. Theteaching contents is lack of variety. The teaching methods is dull and the evaluationmethod is unresonable.2, Students’ enthusiasm to learn martial arts is not high. Many students attendKungfu class for the purpose of getting credits, not for the Kungfu itself.3, The Kungfu teachers are not able enough to teach Kungfu flexibly, so whatthey can do is to teach simple boby movements.4, There are many universities and colleges in Xi’an, but they almost have noKungfu communication between each other.5, The Kungfu venues and Kungfu equipments can not meet the needs ofteaching and extracurricular activities. The current condition also hinders theformation of Kungfu club, so students can not really enjoy Kungfu.Through the analysis of the current situations of Kungfu elective course, thisresearch tries to put forward corresponding solutions, and thus to provide universitiesin Xi’an with effective countermeasures and suggestions on how to carry out andreform the Kungfu elective course.
