The Transformation And Construction Of Rural Community In State Farm District With The Case Of N Village In Hainan Province

Among so many research achievements in the rural community transformation,there is a special type has been paid far less attention, that is, the research on our ruralcommunity in state farm district. Based on author’s academic experience, comparedwith the general type of rural communities, rural community in state farm district hasmany heterogeneous features, which including the productive structure of the village,the management system, the interests relationships, social relationships, socialcontradictions and conflicts and so on. Especially with the reform of the economicsystem, the management of the state farms which been attached by the villages hasundergone profoundly changes. These differences enable the rural community in statefarm district to have significant changes which need to be studied seriously. In view ofthe N village of rural community in state farm named BY in Hainan province, this paperdeeply reveals the changes, developments and transformation characteristics as well asthe present situation of community conflict and community consciousness of ruralcommunity in state farm district on the backgrounds of deeply transformation in BY.Due to the surveys and interviews, the paper attempts to provide some enlighteningthoughts in order to promote the construction on the type of rural communities.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter mainly introducedbackgrounds, purposes, significance and methods on the research. The second chaptersummarized the current status of the research. The third chapter introduced thetransformation on farm and rural communities. The fourth chapter revealed the conflictsand conscious of rural community through field investigations. The fifth chapterdiscussed the construction of rural community in state farm district.
