Research On Psychological Counseling In The Ideological And Political Education Of University

Psychological counseling as an important aspect of strengthening and improvingideological and political work, has been three times in a row in the report of themeeting of the Communist Party of China and pointed out the direction forstrengthening and improving ideological and political work. Fully aware of theimportant role of psychological counseling in the ideological and political educationof college students, is an important part of good ideological and political education ofcollege students and becomes the new challenges faced by the ideological andpolitical education. In this paper, based on the concept of psychological counselingand combined with the actual situation of the ideological and political education,analyze contemporary university students’ ideological moral and psychologicalcharacteristics and explore the way to integrate psychological counseling into theideological and political education work more effectively in the new period. Thisthesis is divided into four sections to elaborate.The first part discusses the background and the significance of the topic, thestatus of this research, the ideas and methods of the article and the difficulties andinnovation of the study.The second part discourses the concept of the ideological and political educationin psychological counseling. This part first introduces the meaning of psychologicalcounseling and distinguishes the similarities and differences between psychologicalcounseling and related concepts, then analyses relations and differences of theideological and political education and psychological counseling, the significance ofpsychological counseling applied to the ideological and political education, finallysummarizes the meaning of the ideological and political education psychologicalcounseling, which is a method that ideological and political education workers followthe process of human psychological changes and the law of the ideological development, concerned about the real feelings of people, allowed them to open theirminds and fully express, also are good at the use of psychological knowledge to guidethem, thus help students to straighten out the ideological obstacles, enhance theirunderstanding, promote the development of physical and mental integrity.The third part is the theoretical basis and practical needs of the the effectivenessof psychological counseling. First, this part learn from the theory of positivepsychology and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, introduce the theoretical basis, aincontent and impact. Thus, concludes these two theories revelation of the ideologicaland political education in psychological counseling, which is the teachers mustunderstand, meet, and counsel the students various stages of the different needs, focuson mining the positive qualities of the students, cultivate their positive personalitiesand establish positive organizational system to do ideological and political educationpsychological counseling well. Then, this part analysis the excellent psychologicalqualities of the students, exemplified the performance and characteristics of thestudents’ psychological problems and analyze the reason for the existence of theproblem to lay the foundation for the end of the article part of the measures proposed.This part is the theoretical basis of innovation.The fourth part studies the countermeasure to strengthen psychologicalcounseling in the ideological and political education. This part based on the expansionof the concept, improvement of the content, definitude of the principle, innovation ofthe methods and optimization of the route five sides on psychological counseling inthe ideological and political education, discusses the countermeasures to strengthenthe ideological and political education psychological counseling. This part is the maincontent, the focal point and difficult of this thesis.
