Ideological and political education in colleges and universities is responsible for the fundamental task of establishing morality.The new era puts forward higher ideological and ethical requirements for graduates of our country's institutions of higher learning.Only by cultivating socialist builders and successors with both morality and ability can the socialist system with Chinese characteristics remain invincible.In the wave of the information age,American colleges and universities can not do without a series of methods and methods of patriotism,moral education,and ideological and political education.After investigation,some educational methods and methods in American universities are worth learning from.Whether it is the United States or China,the themes of higher education include patriotism,national spirit,and zeitgeist.After comparison,it is found that ideological and political education in Chinese and American colleges and universities undoubtedly affects literature method,comparative research method,and the combination of history and logic to draw similarities and differences and serve educational practice.This article explains the related concepts and general theoretical analysis of ideological and political education in Chinese and American universities,and analyzes the concepts,methods,and guiding theories of ideological and political education in Chinese universities and the concepts,methods,and guiding theories of ideological and political education in American universities,according to dominance and diversity The principle of
