Along with the approval of relative national educational policy, comprehensivelyenhancing the higher education quality, talent training quality and scientific researchlevel has become imperative for our country’s higher education development.Education evaluation of college and university plays a significant role in verifyingteaching work, promoting reformation and development of higher education. As onekind of external social evaluation in education evaluation of college and university,university evaluation has gradually drawn attention of universities, educationaladministration departments and different sectors of society. However, there is aproblem needed to be solved in current university evaluation and normal universityevaluation which is using the unified indicator system in type of ‘one size fits all’ toevaluate all kinds of universities without taking universities’ objective characters intoconsideration, such as diversity, complexity and so on. Due to this, a variety ofresultant negative influences cannot be ignored.Based on above problems, this research starts from the view of problem, adopting theliterature material law, historical analysis law and comparative research method toexplore the problems which existed in current Chinese university comprehensiveevaluation, with means of classified evaluation and target of normal universities,referring to the evaluation content of higher normal universities and internationaluniversities’ classified evaluation, aiming at providing valid reference for theconstruction of Chinese normal universities’ comprehensive evaluation contentsystem.At first, this thesis defines and explains the main concepts in the research. Accordingto the existing university evaluation activities, the research sorts out the contentsystem evolution with comparison and analysis. Next chapter is about the elaborationof main problems existing in current university evaluation. Then, the researchanalyzes the necessity and feasibility of content system construction of normaluniversity evaluation. Based on the above research, I expound the constructionaltheoretical foundation, principles and value orientation of normal universities’comprehensive evaluation content system, pointing out the important indices andbasis. In the end of this thesis, the research sorts out the research conclusion, pointsout the surviving shortcomings and puts forward expectations for some relativeresearch orientations in this research field.
