In order to carry out vocational education curriculum reform and construction ofteaching material planning facing the21st century, the ministry of education draw upthe "Sports and health teaching outline of Secondary vocational school". Nowadays,the physical education teaching in secondary occupation school did not reflect themodel of teaching which adapts to the character of medium occupation school.Therefore, it has brought about many disadvantages and problems. This paperinvestigates and analyses according to the practical situation of13Tai’an mediumoccupation school sports teaching. Combined with the characteristics of mediumoccupation school of physical education and analyze and study in depth, we putforward reasonable countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem. Also, wehave further discussed how to establish a set of effective method for mediumoccupation school sports teaching so as to promote the sustainable development ofTai’an sports teaching in secondary occupation school.This study use many methods to investigate the current situation of sportsteaching in Tai’an city13secondary occupation school. such as:the method ofliterature, questionnaire survey method, mathematical statistics method, and logicanalysis.We draw the following conclusions:(1) The aim of the teachers in mediumoccupation school of Tai’an city is still stays in teaching sports skills, physicaleducation of medium occupation schools still can not shake off the shackles andinfluence of previous school physical education system.It has not formed teachingmode which adapts to the characteristics of medium occupation schools.(2)Affected by ordinary primary and secondary school in the sports teaching content,The medium occupation school’s innovation ability in the curriculum contentsexploitation is relatively weak. At present, the sports teaching materials in Tai’ansecondary school are very complex and there is no unified textbook. Some schoolseven still use the former high school textbooks.(3) The leading departments do notpay much attention to the teaching of physical education, the class teaching organization form of physical education in Tai’an medium occupation school is single,class hour arrangement is not sufficient. Teachers’ assessment of intention about sportsteaching are as follows, evaluation form focus on P.E. Teachers’ evaluation, andevaluation method focus on the summative assessment. Students regard technologylearning as the ultimate goal, because the students are not clear about physicaleducation teaching.The major reason which causes the problem is the PE Teachers’innovation consciousness is not strong.According to the research results, the corresponding suggestions are as follows:(1) The medium occupation school sports teaching goal should focus oncultivating sports foundation for students and improve their physical quality, weshould open up athletics, basketball sports course in the first semester andsport-specific physical education elective courses in the second semester.(2) According to the students future occupation characteristics in mediumoccupation school,targeted arrangements for the physical education course isimportant; teaching content in sports should desalinate athletics requirements. The P.E.class teaching form should be variable.(3) To speed up the implementation of "sports and health teaching guidanceoutline" in secondary occupation school. According to the characteristics of the schooland professional characteristics, on the basis of medium occupation school "sports andhealth teaching guidance outline", thet should work out their own physical educationteaching mode to adapt to their development and in line with the actual needs ofteaching.
