| Nowadays many developed countries and some developing countries in the world areall faced with the aging of population.China will grow old before it gets rich and be one ofthe developing countries in the early aging society. As the aging era comes, all oureconomic, cultural, social and other aspects have been significantly affected and thewidespread attention.Against this background, this paper was aimed at following up the project of caringelderly people living alone in Puxing road street, investigating the specific livingconditions of low income elderly people living alone, knowing their all kinds of needs,using the professional knowledge of community social work to the intervention of theproject and meeting their needs. At the same time, social workers adjusted the interventionof community social work timely according to the specific implementation of the project.By involving in the activities, we hope that the social work theory can be combined withthe specific situation of the project practice. At last, we will understand the general processof social welfare organizations how to develop elderly community service.This paper main used the method of qualitative study. There were many collectinginformation methods such as questionnaire, documentation study, case study and so on alsoused in this thesis. On the one hand, with activity theory, social support theory as a guide,the development direction of the community development and community education modeto lead the project activity; on the other hand, through the development of the caringelderly people living alone, we found that there were many problems existing in the community service such as human resource issues, financial resources, material resourcesproblem and so on. If these problems were solved by taking reasonable solutions, then thedevelopment of community elderly activity will satisfy the olds’ needs. In the end,community elderly service will be practically developed. |
