Research On The Interaction Process Of Online Social Support Of College Students

The combination of the computer technology and network technology produces a novel, unique and powerful society-network society, based on different hobbies and needs, the network has developed many communities of different goals and different functions. At the same time, the university online forum is also developed rapidly, its openness, anonymity, spatial information to the body, to the center, as well as the functional diversity and other characteristics, provides a diverse opinion space beyond the time and space for students, becomes an important way to get social support and meet their daily needs. The online forum has provided what support for the college students and has met what needs for them, what is the processes and modes of the online social support interaction? This is topic worthy of attention.This study takes the BBS of Anhui University-"anzing online" as example, studies the university students’online social support behavior and the process of their interaction by using the text analysis method. The theoretical foundation of the study are ethnomethodology, conversation analysis theory of Sax’s hierarchy and needs theory.The article is divided into five parts, the first part is the introduction, mainly introduces the research background, the research problem, and the related research issues and achievements are reviewed. The second part is the research design, it mainly talks about the purpose, significance of the study, and the theoretical basis as well as the research methods. In addition, the subject of the online social support interaction is also introduced. The third part analyzes the specific cases in a micro perspective, and summarizes the types of online social support behavior and the situation that students’ needs are satisfied. The fourth part has carried on a further analysis of the online social support interactive behavior, thus has summarized the process and patterns of online social support interactive behavior. The fifth part is mainly about the research conclusion and the limitations of the study.The study concluded that, network interaction mainly provides college students information support, emotional support, substance support. And network community mainly meets their social contact needs, respect need and self-realization needs and other high level needs, low level needs is rarely met. The interaction process can be divided into four stages:release topic, support giving, support reaction and reply back. There are four main modes of interaction process, they are pairwise model, chain-like interactive mode, stellate mode and mesh mode.
