Long-term exercise training practice shows that strength training can effectively increase the group strength of muscle, improve the stability and coordination of body, improve nerve’s ability to control and dominate muscles and prevent sports injuries to speed up the physical recovery, etc. Since the capacity power can together with the flexibility, speed and endurance, so the stability of the high technology must be based on the power of good. Especially along with the continuous renewal of concept of training, sports training gradually development from the management of "quantity" to the control and pursuit of "quality". In the pursuit of "training" quality today, the qualities of power has become the development foundation, the condition of preventing sports injury, the key to master the movement technology and obtain outstanding athletic achievements. This study on the basis of comprehensive and accurate understanding to the characteristics of walking race movement and training rules, put forward the carrier-strength training of technical ability into walking behavior, to carrier construction of race walking behavior of walking race athlete strength training from the structure, characteristics, means, load arrangement and principle, thus forming a strength training system of walking race athlete. It perfect the theory system of strength training to walking race athlete, points out the relation to quality of strength and technical level.
