| Comprehensive practice course is a practical course based on the students’ experience and life. It aims to improve student’s personality, practical ability and innovative capability. To fulfill its task, the effective guidance from teachers plays critical role in this course. Some research on teacher’s guidance in comprehensive practice course has been done in educational research. However, in practice, further research on the way the teachers give guidance, the characteristics of teachers’ guidance, the factors affect the effectiveness of teachers’guidance are needed to improve the theoretical and practical research on teacher-guidance.This research takes the teachers of Comprehensive practice course from one middle school in Chongqing City as the research object. Through the analysis of research materials obtained by literature, interview, and observation and so on, such conclusion will be reached as the characteristics of teacher’s guidance on the preparation stage, implementation stage, and conclusion stage of practice course, the different categories of teacher-guidance in different cases. The main factors that would affect the efficiency of teacher-guidance will be observed by subjective and objective analysis, so that some feasible advice could be given to the improvement in the efficiency of teacher-guidance.Studies have shown that teacher’s guidance in comprehensive practice course have the following characteristics:the sure of the theme should take into account the student interests in the activities of the preparatory phase, but do not pay enough attention to the cultivation of students’ awareness on; teachers have not developed specific guidance programs, having arbitrariness There are reasonable groups in the implementation phase, teachers give focuses on the collective guidance as well as individual specific guidance; on problem-solving method; the teachers guidance do not moderately exist; guidance more single form. The teachers concern generate when acceptance default; guiding students to communicate and share the results accept knowledge independent from the activities; evaluation of student development indicators is less clear.Based on the analysis of the type of comprehensive practice course with teacher guidance, there are three types of guidance, namely, method-guidance type, introduction-operation type and exploring-discovery type. Methods to guide type is reflected in the guidance of the "process and method" to teachers; guide operational type is reflected in design activities in which teachers guide student through the operation; inquiry found that type of guidance teachers are more full play to the students initiative inquiry.The study also analyzes the various factors that affect teachers’guidance. There are mainly teachers curriculum view, role orientation, outlook on students and teachers’ability from a subjective view, the objective factors are received training, protection mechanisms,the understanding and support of the outside world.Recommendations from two major aspects of instructor-effectiveness to teacher’s guidance, including the implementation of school teachers as well as support strategy.teachers must first make import of course well, building the students’awareness, the theme of the event generate when the students kept asking; before the event, combined with the student’s program of activities teachers develop programs so as to ensure activities effective and orderly manner; teachers should do research guidance and specification, allowing students to do scientific and regulatory activities; and pay attention to the problem of the generation of the activities. In school, schools should strengthen cooperation and exchanges between the teachers; build comprehensive practical activities base, the implementation of activities to be able to get good protection; promote teachers by the way of teaching-learning-research; establish a sound and rational organization institutions and the corresponding system. |
