As we know, solid geometry is one of the important contents ofmathematics teaching in senior high school. How to learn solid geometrywell is a problem which the students, patents and teacher pay muchattention to all the time. And one of the purposes of learning solidgeometry is to solve the problem of geometry. Based on the teaching aimsand the theory on using the mathematical problem to solve teachingproblem, the author combines them with the teaching experience, makesa further study on solving the teaching problems on the solid geometry insenior high school, and then puts forwards some teaching strategies ongeometry problems in senior high school, and takes the teaching cases forexample and makes an analysis.The study consists of five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction to the requirements of solidgeometry teaching based on the new curriculum standard. The status ofsolid geometry teaching in senior high school and the author analyzes thesituation of students learning and shows the importance of learning solidgeometry. The author also describes the research on solid geometryteaching abroad and at home, indicates the importance of study on solidgeometry in senior high school.The second chapter is the description of the mathematical problems.The author introduces the related theories about solving teachingproblems based on mathematics, including the definitions, classifications,the origin and explanation of mathematics problems and its relation anddifference with the general problems in mathematics, and the solving ofteaching problems on mathematical problems teaching, and the factors ofmathematics problems that affects the solving teaching problems. The third chapter discusses the teaching strategies on solving theproblems of solid geometry. The first one is the creation of the problemsituation, stimulate the desire for knowledge. In the creation of theproblem situation teaching, the teacher adopts some teaching methods,contracting with the reality and life, combining with solid geometrymodles, using methods of analogy and multimedia teaching means. Thesecond one is to guide students to perceive and understand the problems,to get the features of the problems. The thirs one is to explore the trend ofproblem solving, identify solutions. The author mainly puts forwards thatteachers should use synthesis method and vector method reasonably inthe procee of solving solid geometry problems. The fourth one is toevaluate the process of solving problems and the methods used.The fourth chapter is showing teaching cases and analyses. Theauthor gives some teaching cases about solving solid geometry problemsin senior high school, and reviews and evaluates the teaching process ofthis period. Aiming at the teaching strategies mentioned in chapter three,the author puts forwards some teaching strategies to solve the problems insolid geometry in senior high school, and designs some teaching cases,that is, the straight line and plane parallel theory and its application thenmakes an analysis.The fifth chapter is the conclusion and reflection. Through thereview, the author finds that the disadvantages and advantages of thestudy then puts forwards some problems for further study in the teachingof solid geometry.
