Experiment is an important part of physics, and has special status and function in theteaching procession. However, some junior middle schools and teachers in countryside didn’tpay attention to the physical experiment teaching due to various reasons at present, whichimpacted seriously on the quality of the education for comprehensive development. So, it isnecessary to investigate the teaching conditions. In this paper, the physics experimentteaching in Junior Middle School of Linqu county were investigated, which mainly includingthree aspects: the physical experiment resources, the present situations and evaluationmethods. Based on the analysis of objective problems in physics experiment teaching, thestrategies and suggestions were attempted to put forward for the improvement.The results of survey showed the main problem of physics experiment teaching in therural junior middle school were: firstly, the development and utilization of curriculumresources for experiments was not optimistic. Most of curriculum resource had not beeneffective utilization, and some teachers did not take active part in resource development ofself-made instrument; secondly, the concept of teachers were updated and their quality inexperiment should be improved; then, the way of evaluations in physical experiment teachingwere single. There had not an operability and complete evaluation system. According to theabove problems in this area, the comprehensive evaluation strategies and suggestions werecarried out in order to increasing the development and utilization of curriculum resources,strengthen business training, paying attention to physics teachers’ professional development,and construction of a diversified, development of evaluation system. The conclusions werehoped to help for changing the current situation of rural junior high school physics experimentteaching.
