In2001, a new round of the basic education reforms puts forward new requirements for teachers,the calls to promote the professional development of teachers are growing,peer coaching which is a school-based、with teachers as the main body, to improve their own development of teachers cooperation mode has more and more concerns, foreign research shows that peer coaching is one of the effective ways to promote the professional development of teachers. This research will take Z primary school in Haidian District of Beijing to verify the relationship between Peer Coaching and professional development of teachers. And on this basis, the text explores the situation of teachers’peer coaching for optimization, and based on analysis of existing problems proposes some operational measures.This study used questionnaire, interview, observation and other methods to examine the present situation of teachers Peer Coaching and the relationship between teachers’professional development and the teachers’Peer Coaching. Peer Coaching can promote teachers’professional development, mainly displays in:Peer Coaching promotes teachers’professional practice sublimation, promotes the development of teachers’professional knowledge and ability, promotes the enhancement of teachers’reflection ability. Then the author from the system, consciousness, behavior, security analysis, technical dimensions analysis the present situation of the case school teachers’peer coaching,, founds that there are some problems in the case school teachers’peer coaching:Z primary school made the system of teachers’mutual cooperation research, but the teachers were not satisfied with the implementation of the system; Most teachers have cooperation consciousness of Peer Coaching, but this is not enough to make partner mutual behavior; Teachers’lack of peer mutual aid skills; And because of the heavy teaching task, teachers’cooperation and mutual assistance of time is difficult to guarantee. In view of the problems, the author on the basis of analyzing the existing problems cause corresponding operation, put forward to some strong measures:improve teachers’consciousness of Peer Coaching; Improve teachers’skills of peer coaching; To understand the demand of different teachers, choose correct way of Peer Coaching; Create a reasonable safeguard mechanism to ensure the Peer Coaching of teachers.
