Academic procrastination is a phenomenon in the situation of learning, that meansstudents have the intention of completing learning tasks, but no consistent with thebehavior; academic procrastination usually leads to substandard learning results (suchas to cope with homework, the unqualified term paper, bud exam results, and so on.);academic procrastination often accompany anxiety, depression, loss negative emotionalexperience, such as anxiety, depression, loss, and so on Academic procrastination is avery common phenomenon; almost every student has the experience of academicprocrastination. These common widespread procrastination behaviors will have anegative impact on individual learning and performance.This research is helpful to understand this phenomenon in College students. Theresearch is based on the reality, discussing the influence between time managementdisposition and academic procrastination on college students, and explores its effectmechanism to help students to realize their own procrastination behavior, and provide atheoretical basis and time basis to develop effective overcoming strategy.On the basis of the literature review, combined with interviews, revised PASSprocrastination scale; the use of the revised questionnaire study of551students of7University in Chongqing to delay status investigated; analyzes the whole situation ofCollege Students’ academic procrastination and the demographic variables on thein-depth study of the relationship between; academic procrastination and timemanagement disposition.The results showed: Procrastination of college students’ proportion was not high,but there were more than60%students have the performance of urgent desire to reducethe delay; the main reasons for college students’ procrastination: shilly-shally, fear offailure, aversion tasks, dependent on others, conflict control. Overall, be appointedprocrastination and time control tasks under the view were negatively related to thesense of time efficacy and time management disposition score; make procrastination,time monitoring task view and time management disposition scores were negativelycorrelated; college students’ academic procrastination degree and the dimensions of timemanagement disposition of each dimension were not correlated significant; academicprocrastination reasons of "dependent", the sense of time control and the sense oftime efficacy were negatively correlated. Time management disposition score prediction of procrastination; time management disposition scores have prediction effect onshilly-shally, fear of failure, aversion tasks, dependent on others; the sense of time valueof conflict control prediction.On the whole, be appointed procrastination and time control tasks under the viewwere negatively related to the sense of time efficacy and time management dispositionscore; make procrastination and time monitoring task view and time managementdisposition scores were negatively correlated; college students’ academic procrastinationdegree and the dimensions of time management disposition of each dimension were notcorrelated significant; academic procrastination reasons of "dependent" and the sense oftime control and the sense of time efficacy negatively correlated. Time managementdisposition score prediction of procrastination; time management disposition scoreshave prediction effect on shilly-shally, fear of failure, aversion tasks, dependent onothers; the sense of time value of conflict control prediction.
