With the deep development of elementary education reformation, the CurriculumRevolution is changing greatly in our country. In2001,“the Outline of CurriculumRevolution of Elementary Education” has stipulated definitely a multiple textbook policy.Thus, the aspect of “One outline, one book” which is leading by central government for along time has been broken and is changing to an aspect of “One outline with more books”or “multi-outline with multi-books”. And the management model is changing from highlyconcentrated to a three-level model of central government, local areas, and school. Atpresent, with the further openness of textbook compilation and textbook press, thetextbook market is at the same time open to traffic. So, textbook diversity is becoming anirreversible tendency. While faced by kinds of textbooks, how to distinguish the goodfrom low-grade, how to choose the suitable books for the schools, students, teachersand courses, and the appropriateness of books that are put into practice has become thecore problem which needs more concentration and urgent settlement. My thesis focuseson the research of appropriateness of PEP elementary school Chinese textbook, andthrough education diagnoses, document analysis and theory research I studied theappropriateness of Chinese textbook of primary school to students, teachers. Besides, mythesis discusses the problems and reasons of it and provides the settlement to thequestions. I believe my research will be of some value to our country at the aspect oftextbook appropriateness, and it will be of significance to raise the textbookappropriateness and is quite important to the textbook appropriateness.This paper points the following six chapters:Part one: introduction. The information in this chapter:first put forwatd the practicaland the oretical significance of the source of the research topics and research,the literatureand the research questions related to the quality and quantity of the differentlevels,domestic and foreign in China,reference to the literature and the characteristics ofthe study defined the core concept of this article;final statement of research objectives andresearch content of this paper,research ideas and research method. Part two: the evaluation criterion and theory basis of PEP primary Chinese textbookappropriateness. It analyses the fundamental factors of primary Chinese textbook andputs forward the evaluation standard, which needs textbooks to be conformed to students,teachers, and expounded the theory which is according to.Part three: the investigate research of PEP primary Chinese textbookappropriateness. It raises the definite investigate purpose, target, method and thenanalyses the investigate result.Part four: the problems of PEP primary Chinese textbook appropriateness. Throughmy study, I have concluded the problems.Part five: PEP appropriateness of primary school language textbook causesprobles.Mainly focused aimed at the appropriateness of primary languageproblems,analyze the causes leading to the problem.Part six: the way to deal with the problems in PEP primary school Chinese textbookappropriateness. Aiming at its problems and reasons in primary Chinese textbookappropriateness and according to its evaluation standard, the thesis put forward somepractical countermeasures to improve the appropriateness of PEP primary textbook.
