The Research Of Network Information Behaviour Of Urban Middle School Students In Hebei Province

For deeply research on middle school students’network information behavior, the author based on relevant theories of research achievements, Wilson’s information behavior model to establish network information behavior model. Meanwhile, the author investigated on high school students’network information behavior based on current model to form some research consequences.Chapter 1:introduction. The author expounded the research background and significance of developing current research. Then, summarizing, analyzing related domestic and international callas’(or high school students) information behavior’s research achievements to design current holistic research ideas and choose relevant research methods.Chapter 2:the author expounded, differentiated and analyze-discriminated related theories of information demand, information behavior, information inquiry behavior, network information behavior and so on. Then, generalizing and analyzing Wilson’s information behavior model in 1981,1996,1999. Establishing information users’network information behavior model based on Wilson’s models. The following analyses were based on these theory foundations.Chapter 3:the author designed investigation questionnaires and interview materials questions’syllabus according to information users’network information behavior model. Investigation questionnaires included information demand, information scan, information searches, information utilization, information communication and issue, information evaluation and so on. Users interview involved users’basic situation, family situation, surfing on the network situation, surfing on the network information behavior and so on.Chapter 4:the author analyzed and researched the outcome of investigation questionnaires and interview materials questions. The effect showed that internet utilization was high among high schooled students. Using network searches information has already become the major way for high school students gain information. However, high school students only represented high enthusiasm in information search activities. Other activities such as information management, information utilization, information communication and issue did not have high participated. Furthermore, high school students’information searches, information management, information utilization’s capabilities ought to be improved as well.Chapter 5:conclusion.
