With the development of the multimedia and internet technology, a new literacy is required. In this background, the course of information technology has been brought. The objectives of the curriculum will be put on cultivating the information literacy of the students. Teachers will implement the curricula directly, so their conceptions of the information literacy have a effect on the action of teaching and the learning of the students. So the study of the teachers' conceptions of information literacy is necessary.Firstly, it was reviewed the preview research about information literacy from our country and other countries. An analysis frame of information literacy conception was constructed. Secondly, the observation and interview were used to explore the teachers' information literacy conceptions. Thirdly, the data was used to analyze the teachers' conceptions of information literacy. Finally, the example analysis method was used to analyze the information literacy conception influence on the instruction.The research result included the following. Firstly, four dimensions of identifying teachers' conceptions were suggested: information awareness, information knowledge, information competence and information ethic. Then, according to their views on each dimension, five categories of information literacy conceptions were identified. They are the "blank" conception of information literacy, the information skill conception, the knowledge based conception, the complicated conception and the comprehensive conception of information literacy. Secondly, it was analyzed that the teachers' conceptions of information literacy influence on instruction.
