| Economic growth alone is not necessarily bring social and economic development andprogress, rely mainly on the increase of the input factors to achieve economic growth’s modewill led economic, social and environment to be separated, which will bringing overallsituation and further generations a non-economic consequences or even a disaster. In thebackground of economic restructuring, the effect of the technological innovation (improvement)get highlights,which is not only the momentum source of economic growth but also the basis ofthe transformation of economic growth mode, so the study of regional scientific andtechnological innovation on economic growth have important theoretical and practicalsignificance. this study make an analysis on regional scientific and technological innovationcapacity and its impact on economic growth, the main contents include three parts: First, withuseing qualitative analysis method, this paper construct a measure of technological innovationindicators system, in the quantitative analysis, this article using descriptive statistical analysis,cluster analysis methods which cluding in the multivariate statistical analysis method, dynamiccomprehensive evaluation method to analyze the current conditions of the regional scientific andtechnological innovation and it’s dynamic evolution process in recent years; Secondly, based onthe main theoretical performance of the scientific and technological innovation promotingeconomic growth, this paper obtained the path of regional scientific and technological innovationto promote economic growth; Finally, in the empirical research component, we used panel datamodel in econometric to analysis the effect of the regional scientific and technologicalinnovation on economic growth.The results show that:(1) The overall level of China’s scientific and technologicalinnovation capacity has gradually increased, but the inputs and outputs are not synchronized.(2)The level of regional scientific and technological innovation have a strong correlation with theregion’s overall economic strength,eastern region is the core built-up areas to enhance theinnovation capability of China’s science and technology. But the eastern region is becomingmore strong than central and western region will have a negative impact on China’s overallscientific and technological innovation capability, which makes the competition between regionsto a lack of vitality and will eventually lead to the development of imbalances.(3)In our country,regional scientific and technological innovation through the form of adjustment the industrial structure and promote the transformation of the mode of economic growth to promote economicgrowth.(4) There is a big regional differences in China’s scientific and technological innovationin promoting economic growth, the promoting effect, from east to west, demonstrating in turnweakened characteristics. |
