With the rapid development of economy, the buyer’s market has been gradually formedunder the impetus of the market economy system. In this highly competitive economy, thekey to business success will depend on the service quality, and then the business strategyabout "close to customers" and" marketing focus down" etc. appears. The customersatisfaction gets an unprecedented attention. If enterprises want to develop better and better,only providing service is not enough, but should change it to "make the customer satisfied".And most of the time, whether customers’ demand can be met by distribution centers’ serviceis the first priority. So distribution centers need to provide different levels of service fordifferent customers about the same service needs, to enable customers to achieve the greatestsatisfaction. Therefore, when selecting distribution site, customer satisfaction should betaken into consideration. To build a customer satisfaction function by the related algorithmanalysis, and to set up the model based on customer satisfaction is a research direction of thelocation of the distribution center.After reading a lot of literatures and analyzing the development and situation of scholars’researches on location selection of distribution center, research contents and technical routeare set. Based on the basic theory of distribution centers and location of distribution centers,the concept of customer satisfaction is introduced. The customer satisfaction function isestablished using the distribution center system reliability to characterize of customersatisfaction. Then combining the function with the traditional distribution center locationmodel, the multi-objective optimization model of the location of distribution center based oncustomer satisfaction is proposed. Based on both distribution centers and customers, thisarticle considers minimizing the cost as well as maximizing the customer satisfaction. Inorder to make the model more close to real, enterprises can select the main objectivefunction according to its development strategy, and also can take another important factorinfluencing the development of distribution center into account.After put the model this article studied into practical use, and compare it with the traditionaldistribution center location model——Kuehn-Hamburger model. The analyzing resultsfurther verify the scientific rationality of the research model. At the end of this article, thewhole article was summarized and a research direction of distribution center for future wasproposed.
