The Research About Sustainable Development Of Family Firm Of China

During30years of reform and opening, our economic achievements are inseparable with thedevelopment of family business that has become an important part of the national economy.According to statistics, China had more than32million individual and private enterprises,80millionpeople to solve the employment problem, and the total number of family enterprises in Chinareached8million, accounting for99%of total number of enterprises,60%of industrial output value,industrial added value of40%pre-tax profits77%, exports60%,75%of urban employmentopportunities. Family business has maintained an annual growth rate of output of about30%, farhigher than the national growth rate. Family business has an important role in the economic andsocial development. However, the process of development in the family business, there are stillmany problems. In order to further promote the development of family business, more studies shouldbe needed to resolve the problems.Based on the perspective of sustainable development of family business, to investigate theX-clothing company’s corporate governing structure, human resource structure, we analysis theproblems in X-clothing company: human resources, governance structure, the introduction ofprofessional managers problem, X enterprises are facing succession, the lack of corporate culture, asingle incentive model, etc. Based on the SWOT analysis, we provide the X-clothing company’sstrategies for sustainable development: establishing a "separation of ownership" model of themodern company, brand operations and intensive growth strategy, diversity incentive model,reasonable sharing structure, building a "people-oriented" family business culture.
