Research On The Development Of Naval Weapons And Equipment Of Neighboring Countries/Regions

In recent years,when the ocean’s status is improved continuously in national development strategies,China’s surrounding countries/regions continue to increase efforts in building developping weapons and equipment.Only South Korea and Japan build large surface ships and submarines by themselves because of strong ship industrial capacity;while other countries/regions take the road of ‘self-study plus introduction’ to enhance the technical level of naval weapons and equipment.In this context,in order to obtain the relative military advantage of these countries/regions,we naturally need to study the current situation and trends of neighboring countries/regions naval weapons and equipment.First, on the basis of summarizing and inducing the related literature,the paper introduces the related concepts of naval weapons and equipment,and outlines the wayof the development of naval weapons and equipment;and it introduces the analytichierarchy process,fuzzy evaluation method and the gray evaluation method,and demonstrates that it’s applicable by gray fuzzy multi-level evaluation in the development ofnavalweapons and equipment.Secondly,the paper summarizes the current naval weapons and equipment of neighboring countries/regions,and through analyzing the evolution process of Naval(defense) strategy of neighboring countries/regions,it sums up the development trends of naval weapons and equipment of neighboring countries/regions so as to further draw themotive of developing naval weapons and equipment of these countries/regions.Again,the paper focuses on the gray fuzzy evaluation of naval weapons and equipment of neighboring countries/regions.First,by summarizing the existing research results,itconcludes the factor of affectting the development of naval weapons and equipment, including military spending,basic scientific research capacity,shipbuilding capacity and industrial base,environmental factors and legal factors,and on this basis they’refurther divided into14second indicators.Secondly,it build a multi-level gray fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model, and thus we can generally understand the relative degree of naval weapons equipment of neighboring countries/regions.Finally,on the basis of understanding of our surrounding maritime safety and theenvironment,the paper sums up the development trend of China’s naval weapons and equipment and the progress and shortcomings of the development of naval weapon s and equipment and supplies some thinkings about China’s naval weapons and equipment.
