China’s development zone after30years of construction, in the area ofsustainable development of the economy and achieved remarkable results. And inthe development zone in the various factors, talent is vital, and how to obtain thetalents and keep talents, efficiency is the key, one of the most complex and difficultis how to effectively salary incentive.In this study, based on the surveys and face-to-face conversation withemployees working in the Administrative Committee of Xi’an International tradeand logistics park, this paper analyses status, problems and causes of the Xi’anInternational trade and logistics park’s salary incentive mechanism. With theapplication of human resources management salary theory of general principle,using the method of combining theory and practice, this dissertation focuses onresearch and innovation in salary incentive mechanism of Xi’an International tradeand logistics park. The novelty of this paper is the analysis of the concept ofincentives, performance management, promotion system, salary management,reward and punishment system, and incentive methods, which applies forconstructing salary incentive mechanism of Xi’an International trade and logisticspark.The full paper is divided into five parts:The first part is introduction. It includes reasons of selected topic and contentsand methods of the research. The second part is the theoretical foundation of salary incentive mechanism.This part mainly introduces the salary management concept, characteristic, keytheory and the contents and importance of salary incentive and restraintmechanisms.The third part starts from the introduction of Xi’an International trade andlogistics park, and then puts weight on the analysis of its salary incentivemechanism’s current situation, achieved results, main problems and reasons.The fourth part is the innovation of Xi’an international trade and logistics parksalary incentive mechanism. It generally contains six parts as follows: theinnovation of incentive concept, perfection of performance management,enhancement of the promotion system, completion of salary system, fulfillment ofrewards and punishment system, and enrichment of incentive methods.The fifth part is to create a good salary incentive mechanism operatingenvironment. It chiefly introduces the strengthening administrative supervision,improvement the legal system, and aggrandizement of education and training.
