The Design Research Of Construction Management’s Workflow And Organization Based On BIM

Computer Aided Design technology has applied for more than twenty years in theconstruction industry of our country. The combination of CAD technology and modernproject management theory become a mainstream in construction industry of ourcountry at present, which is called the project management technology. This methodpromotes the wide application of the construction industry and improves theinformationalized level, changing the traditional backward construction appearance.Along with the construction industry and the development of the computer informationtechnology, complexity of the architecture design continuous improves. Much previoustechnology cannot meet the architectural form appear ceaselessly, which makes the2-dimensionality project management cannot adapt to the development of buildingmarket. The planar design information lacerate is very serious, and the integration ofinformation is not high, low reliable, low repeated utilization factor, which becomeobstacles of the development of construction informatization. Highly integrated andmultidimensional development of project management becomes a key to solve the2-dimensionality project management problems.In this situation, Building Information Modeling theory offers a new way to thecontinued development of the project management Information. Building informationmodel using the most advanced3-dimensionality parametric modeling technology,tried to express all the information building in a unified manner in a buildinginformation modeling, which makes the information integrated expression of a buildingrealize. It can make the stylist solve the problems and the risk of a project in the projectdesign greatest degree, and improving of the ideal and solving problems in the phase ofmodel’s modification. The application of BIM technology unprecedentedly emphasisthe importance of planning functions in project management, solving the problem ofproject in the early stages of the project at the maximum level. It changed information separated in the2-dimensionality design stage dramatically, influencing subsequentproject management from the operation to maintenance of the building deeply, realizingtruly information management’s unity in the construction total life cycle. The depth ofBIM application becomes largely as a signs of construction industry informatization.After inspecting the application of BIM in our country, most research focused onsoftware operation platform, giving little attention to the entire project informationintegration and project management. After researching of the characteristics of BIM,with China’s traditional project management theory and method, this paper tries to builda project management workflow based on BIM process, explore a right path for BIM inour country’s application.
