The Study On Differentiation Of Living Space Characteristics And Forming Mechanism In Xi’an City

The residence is one of a city’s main functions. The spatial pattern of urban livingis the outward manifestation of the inherent laws for an urban development. Theresearch on differentiation of living space has important theoretical and practicalsignificance, has become one of the hotspots of the current social space circles.Xi’an, an ancient city, with a large number of cultural relics, since the late1990s,the government under the premise of respect for the historical monuments did alarge-scale demolition and renovation to the city. Through the development of the BigWild Goose Tower, Qujiang, Daming Palace and other cultural monuments, not onlyled to the economic development of its surrounding areas, promoted the protection ofmonuments and the urban construction, but also formed the new residential spheres ofThe Big Wild Goose Pagoda-Qujiang, the Daming Palace National Ruins Park andother spheres.This thesis is established based on this background with combines thepredecessor’s research achievements about the differentiation of urban living space,modeling through SEM deal with the forming mechanism of differentiation of livingspace in Xi’an city by the macro environment, urban construction, the rents locationand the choice of consumer. The results will be helpful for related governmentdepartments in Xi’an carry on the urban planning, macro-control real estate market,and can be a valuable reference for nationwide urban construction.
