A Study On The Reconstruction Of Living Space Of Zhenggui Village In Southern Jiangxi Under The Background Of Tourism Development

At present,the continuous development of Chinese economy and society has made rural tourism become an important component of the mass tourism and modern tourism system.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the rural tourism market scale continues to expand,industrial chains continue to extend,and the comprehensive driving effect is becoming increasingly obvious.In the No.1 Central Document in 2023,it is also emphasized to accelerate the development of rural catering,shopping,culture and sports,tourism and leisure and other life services,to implement rural leisure tourism quality projects,and to promote the improvement and upgrading of rural homestays,which shows that the development of rural tourism has been attached great importance.With the rapid development of rural tourism,rural tourism with traditional villages as the theme rises everywhere.The deepening of tourism development drives the economic development of villages,promotes the transformation of village functions and the activation and utilization of village space,enhances the historical and cultural value of villages,and promotes the protection and inheritance of traditional culture.At the same time,the whole village needs to face the changes of living environment and living mode.After further investigation and research,it is found that tourism development brings the reconstruction of local living space,which is manifested in geography,economy,society,system,culture and other aspects.As is known to all,now is an important period to comprehensively promote rural revitalization,so timely research on the impact of rural tourism in all aspects will be conducive to guiding the development of rural tourism,and then help the overall promotion of rural revitalization.At present,although there are a lot of research results and different perspectives on the impact of rural tourism development,there is little attention to the change of traditional village livelihood space after tourism development.Therefore,this paper chooses Zhenggui Village,a traditional village in southern Jiangxi Province,as the research object,draws on the theory of space production,collects data through questionnaire survey,literature analysis,participant observation and interview,and builds the analysis framework of livelihood space on the basis of summarizing and learning from previous studies on rural tourism and livelihood space.This paper selects and values the five factors of geographical space,economic space,social space,institutional space and cultural space that constitute the analysis framework.Taking the villagers who witness and participate in the tourism development of Zhenggui Village as the research objects,this paper carries out the research on the reconstruction of the living space of Zhenggui Village in southern Jiangxi under the background of tourism development.The research shows that rural tourism development has an important and far-reaching impact on villages,which promotes the reconstruction of village living space.As the basis of living space,the reconstruction is manifested as the improvement of living environment and living facilitation.As the guarantee of survival,the reconstruction of economic space is manifested by the change of livelihood mode and the fluctuation of income and expenditure.As the key to improve the living space,the reconstruction of social space is manifested as the competition of neighbors,the empty-nest of villages and the improvement of the overall civilization of villages.As a reflection of power and social order,the reconstruction of institutional space is manifested as the villagers’ utilitarian political participation and democratization.As a demonstration of cultural and recreational life,the reconstruction of cultural space is manifested as the rise of leisure and entertainment,the return of traditional culture and the recognition and confidence of villagers to the village.In general,under the development of tourism,the reconstruction of village living space presents a positive trend,but it also brings about problems such as the gap between the rich and the poor,the instability of family livelihood,the alienation of neighborhood relations,the increase of empty nesters and left-behind children,the aggravation of irrationality in political participation,and the impact of modern multiculturalism.In view of these problems,it is suggested to strengthen the support and protection of low-and middle-income families,pay attention to the sustainable development of economic space in the post-COVID-19 era,enhance neighborhood interaction and build a space for cooperation and symbiosis,care for the elderly and children,create an institutional space for active participation,regulation and order,and guide the healthy development of cultural space.In order to provide some referable thinking methods and case models for the tourism development and livelihood space reconstruction of traditional villages represented by Zhenggui Village in southern Jiangxi.
