Research On The Construction Of Academic Exchange Quality Evaluation Index System

Academic exchange is the important process of making academic thoughts active,promoting the development of disciplines, promoting innovation of science andtechnology. In this period, when the influence of science and technology to the socialdevelopment is increasing, Academic exchange plays a particularly important role.In recent years, the academic exchanges are more and more frequent and multitudinousand play an important role in promoting professional exchange,solving discipline problems together, discussing cutting-edge issues, and promotingsocial progress and economic growth. However, we found that there are stillmany problems in domestic academic exchange activities in the survey.Low-quality academic exchange activities are spending a lot of energy of the organizersand participants and wasting some resources. They arerestricting the rapid upgrading of China’s overall technological level and the sustaineddevelopment of social and economic.Based on the importance and urgency of academic exchange, this paper exploresand discusses the method of evaluating academic quality. Including:(1) Defining the related concepts of the quality of academic exchanges. Afterreading and analysis a large number of the academic exchanges literature, define theconnotation of academic exchanges and the quality of academic exchanges. Andaccording to the present situation of the mainstream form of academic exchanges，summary the characteristics of the academic exchanges activities. At the same time,combined the research way of classification, according to the organization, immediacyand directness, academic communication is divided into academic exchangesconference and non conference academic exchanges, make a research respectively.(2) Constructing an evaluation index system of academic exchange. According tothe established concepts and characteristics of academic exchange, it analyzed the mainfactors affecting the quality of academic exchanges from macroscopical andmicrocosmic respects. In principle of systemic, guidance, feasibility, versatility andcombination of qualitative and quantitative indexes, it has constructed an evaluationindex system of academic exchange with AHP and determined the weights.(3) Analyzing the problems in China’s academic exchange and the solutions tothem. According to the data of questionnaire, expert interviews, literatures and the evaluation index system, it analyzed the present situation and problems of China’sacademic exchange and the deep causes. We suggest improving the quality of academicexchanges from the ways of academic exchange content, academic exchange carrier,academic exchange mechanism, and academic environment.
