Recent years, the phenomenon of loss of a large number of front-line staff arose in themanufacturing industry of the Pearl River Delta region, which has seriously hamperedthe development of the manufacturing sector in the region. In particular, loss offrontline employees of these enterprises has brought a high level of explicit andimplicit costs and made the manufacturing enterprises fall into employment dilemmaafter the crisis. Therefore, take typical manufacturing base-the Pearl River Deltaregion as represented, investigating how to reduce the manufacturing front-line staffturnover rate has some theoretical and practical value.Starting from the point of view of turnover motivation, this study selected thefirst-line staff of the Pearl River Delta, using a combination of literature review andempirical analysis to identify the main factors affecting their departure, and then builtthe leaving path model, in order to provide a reference to solve the Pearl River Deltamanufacturing front-line employees’ turnover.Conclusions of this study include: for front-line staff of the Pearl River Deltamanufacturing, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, job stress, pay andbenefits, interpersonal support, distributive justice, procedural fairness, job growthopportunities, other job opportunities and turnover intention all had significantcorrelation relationship with turnover intention; those variables had a significanteffect on turnover intention mainly through three types of paths.
