Studies On The Competitiveness Of Auto Parts Industrial Cluster In Fushan Industry District

Benefit from the rapid development in the past few years, auto parts industry inFushan Industry District has been stronger than before, the advantages of cluster areeffective in promoting the development of auto parts industry. Auto parts industryhas become a pillar industry in Fushan Industry District, it has great significance for thelocal economy and social stability. As a result, how to further enhance thecompetitiveness of auto parts industry cluster is the top priority for Fushan IndustryDistrict.This article is based on the theories of the industrial cluster and thecompetitiveness of the industrial cluster, has a deep investigation and research,and makean empirical analysis,both qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, on thecompetitiveness of auto parts industry cluster in Fushan Industry District, then givescountermeasures and suggestions to enhance the competitiveness of auto parts industrycluster in Fushan Industry District.This article is divided to four parts:First, it expounds the theories of the industrial cluster and the competitiveness ofthe industrial cluster at home and abroad, to provide theoretical basis for the follow-upstudy.Second, it introduces the history and present situation of the auto parts industrycluster in Fushan Industry District.SWOT Analysis is used to study auto parts industrycluster which includes Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. Then, thestrategic analysis based on the SWOT matrix will be given.Third, it evaluates the present situation of competitiveness of auto parts industrycluster in Fushan Industry District. The qualitative analysis based on Michael PorterDiamond Model will be given, analyses the competitiveness of the auto parts industrycluster in Fushan Industry District from six aspects, which are factors, demond, relevant supporting industries, competitive environment, government and opportunities.Then,itgives a quantitative analysis based on GEM Model, and gets points of each factor.Last, it gives countermeasures and suggestions to enhance the competitiveness ofauto parts industry cluster in Fushan Industry District.
