The rapid development of modem tourism led to urban night tourism,and theperformance success of “Impression Sanjie Liu,”made more and more domestic touristcities begin to concern about the urban night tourism,which is an emerging tourismmarket and they have flocked to join into the team of opening up the nighttourism.tourism.The economic and social effects of urban night tourism emerge,andthat is a new growth point in the development of tourism, with enormouslydevelopmental potential.Under the background of the growing competition in tourism,as one of the excellent tourist cities in China, Chengdu has been enriched in culture,natural resources and infrastructure conditions to develop the urban night tourism. Inthis paper, author make the city of Chengdu as the research object,and analyze thesituation of Chengdu to develop the night tourism.Firstly, it relates the concepts such asthe leisure and leisure tourism, cities and urban tourism and so on, based on the analysisof this define the concept of urban night tourism;Then, it analyzes the subjects of urbannight tourism and the characteristics of the urban night tourism, and summarizes theexisting urban tourism products,Secondly, it analyzes the present situation and existingproblems of the development of urban night tourism in Chengdu, through surveys andinterviews,this paper analyzes the behavioral characteristics of the main targets andpotential objects of Chengdu urban night tourism, as well as investigates theirevaluation on the existing city night travel in Chengdu;Finally,concerning thoseinsufficient and the actual situation,author discusses relative countermeasures for thedevelopment of the urban night tourism in Chengdu....
