Research On The Development Of Urban Night Tourism

The rapid development of tourism and the diversity of travel requirements lead to urban night tourism. At present, more and more domestic tourism cities give special attention to urban night tourism and they have developing night tourism market actively. Now in some developed cities and regions, urban night tourism is developing rapidly. Currently, night tourism in Jinhua City is still in the planning stage and how to exploit the content of tour products and the potential of tourism market in order to develop the urban tourism and achieve the sustainable development on the basis of present tourism resourses in urban centre. In this dissertation, the author makes a study on urban night tourism with case study of Jinhua.The paper is divided into five parts from the structural view. The first part is the introduction which gives the brief view on the background of choosing the subject, the significance, the present situation of city tourism and night tourism, the framework and the methods of the paper. The second part definits urban night tourism by analyzing the conception of city tour and leisure tour, and outlines the characteristics of urban night tourism first, then it introduces the development model and theories of urban night tourism. Next, entering the case study, the author describes the urban tourism and tourism resources in Jinhua, and analyzes the current situation of night tourism in Jinhua center. By the information gathered through the survey, the author analyzes the characteristics of Jinhua local residents and visitors in detail, including demographic characteristics, the market demand, behavior characteristics and so on. then, the problems during the development of Jinhua centre night tourism are analyzed. In the fourth part, the author puts forward the development strategies of Jinhua centre night tourism including thematic targeting, plan-oriented to guide the development, developing night tourism products, improving the supporting facilities, optimizeing night environment, enhancing night tourism promotion. The fifth part is the conclusion part of the thesis which summarizes the research results and presents the deficiencies.
