Urbanization is the result of the socio-economic development, is the inevitabletrend of history, but because of differences in natural environments, geographicconditions, unbalanced socio-economic development, levels of urbanization and realestate industry development in China in the East, Central and Western regions there is alarge difference, and this difference over a long period of time will always exist.However, driven by the western development and the globalization economic boom,urbanization development of space and the development potential is enormous, realestate industry is also in a State of being activated and rapid development. Thus,drawing on the experience of cities in the eastern region, from a regional perspective toexplore the interaction between urbanization and real estate industry, reasonable layouturban development scale in Western China, scientific developing real estate industrypolicy, to promote both the healthy and orderly development and narrow thedevelopment difference between East and West have very important significance.This paper based on the related theories of urbanization and real estate, combinedwith the actual situation of China’s urbanization and the real estate industry, using theapplying theory and empirical analysis, qualitative and quantitative analysis, with acombination of static and dynamic analysis method on the urbanization and the realestate industry in China’s West made a further analysis of the relationship, and useddirect growth rate method, panel data model of measurement method, on China’s12western provinces (municipalities、autonomous regions)from2000to2010paneldata for analysis research, came to the urbanization and real estate industry in WestChina there is a two-way, reciprocal interaction between cause and effect conclusions.Last aforesaid on foundations of theory and positive analysis, basing on the currentdevelopment of China’s western region, in-depth study discussion on obstacle factorsrestricting the healthy and steady development of urbanization and real estate, targetedto make proposals and countermeasures of promoting their interaction development.This research’s thought and exploration is based on the regional difference ofurbanization and real estate relationship in an expansion development, as well as at thetime of research on interaction between urbanization and real estate made a number ofavailable reference method and model.
