At present, the urbanization of China is developing in a high speed. The unification of the urbanization of population and the city modernization causes a fundamental transformation for the socio-economic structure. So each place government formulates respective development targets of urbanization positively, and takes the real estate industry as an impetus to the economic growth and urbanization. The real estate industry is experiencing in a high-tide period. Then the interaction between urbanization and real estate industry is occurring. From the beginning of 1990s until now, the investment of real estate mainly concentrated in cities which have a high level of urbanization such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. In these cities, the urbanization and the real estate industry maintained a similar speed.The urbanization and development of real estate industry in the western area of our country maintain a low level now, and is being in a start stage which accelerates to develop. Under the background of China's Western Campaign, the potential and space of development of urbanization in the western area will be extremely huge, the real estate industry in these areas will be activated to develop rapidly. As a result, it will has the vital significance to the development of urbanization and real estate industry in western area of our country as well as the whole national economy that learning the experiences and lessons of the developed cities in eastern area of our country, and researching the interaction of urbanization and real estate industry in the regional angel.So my paper will attempt to prove the interactive relationship between the urbanization and the real estate industry based on the correlated theories of urbanization and the characteristic of the real estate industry, and there will be a few analysis methods in my paper such as diagnosis and case, logical and comparative analysis methods. Then I will further analyze the urbanization and the real estate industry in the western area of our country which is backward now but has been in an accelerating period, and utilize the scientific method such as the factor analytic method to evaluate the level of the urbanization and potential development in some western key city comprehensively. Finally, my paper will propose the countermeasure which is helpful to promote the interactive relationship between the urbanization and the real estate industry in the western area of our country.
