Nowadays, urbanization in China is keeping in a stage of rapid development, the unitybetween the urban modernization and population urbanization has brought the essentialchanges of socio-economic structure. Urbanization has promoted the development ofeconomic and social, government departments are actively planning urbanizationdevelopment goals, providing a broad development space for the real estate industry,effectively promoting the development of real estate industry, at the same time, the realestate industry is actively involved to promote the urbanization process and stimulateeconomic growth. Thus they have appeared the relationship of mutual influence、 mutualpromotion and reciprocal causation between the real estate industry and urbanization.Since the development of the Western region, countries have increasingly attachedimportance to develop the Western region, lower urbanization and real estate industry havebeen developed rapidly and activated in the Western region, they had great potential fordevelopment and expanding space. In this paper, it based on the features of urbanizationand real estate industry in the present stage, from some aspects of basic theory, mutualeffect, status and the comparison to make the theoretical exposition for their mutualrelationship, to construct the evaluation index, using main components analysis and passdiameter analysis to make the empirical analysis for comprehensive development level andinteractive development relationship between them. The main conclusion is lowerdevelopment between them in West area than the Middle and East area, but in the12provinces of the West area, the Inner Mongolia’s real estate industry’s development is thebest, Chongqing’s urbanization level is the highest, real estate development and investmentplays a greater direct effect coefficient in the various indicators of real estate developmentto the urbanization’s development, rural per capita net income plays a greater direct effectcoefficient in the various indicators of urbanization to the real estate development.In this paper, according to the results of theoretical research and empirical analysisbetween real estate industry and city level in western area, in the present status, to depthanalysis the barriers factors about restricting the mutual development between urbanizationand the real estate, and to provide some specific countermeasures for keeping their benigninteraction, and to provide the theoretical basis for planning the benign loop developmentpolicy of Western area’s national economy.
