The Research Of "Resource Curse" Based On Energy Development And Economic Development In Western China

"Resource Curse", is the negative correlation of natural resource development and economic development.That is most of areas of abundant natural resources tend namely to slower development. It also reflects there is strong path-dependence on resources and unsustainable status in areas with abundant resources. Inevitably, there are some possibilities of "resource curse" on energy development because energy is a kind of natural resources.With abundant energy, energy development has been much accounted in western china since the Reform. Energy industry in western china that has tremendous development improves economic development of environment in western china, relieves the contradiction between supply and demand in eastern even national energy, supports economic development for the eastern region and the national.However, it seems that the development in energy industry caused the curse for economic development on self. So, analysis of "resource curse" from energy development in western china, is conducive to correctly understand function and role of energy development, reasonably control its strength and speed, promote sustainable economic development of western china.Based on the perspective of "resource curse" in energy development, This paper utilizes of theory and empirical methods, synthetically analyses the situation of western china, designs of a scientific way and proposes feasible suggestions.
