Recent years studies show that natural resources will not necessarily bring rapideconomic growth, many natural resources rich countries and regional economic growthbut slower than natural resources scarcity of countries and regions, but also is rich innatural resources hinders economic growth. This phenomenon in economics known asnamed "resource curse", and caused the extensive attention of the academic circlesabroad.Inner Mongolia autonomous region in2002-2009for8years GDP growth in the nationalkeep first,8years average growth at an astonishing18.7%. Inner Mongolia in2011percapita GDP is as high as56700yuan, after2010years beyond the guangdong, furtherapproximation of the ranked fifth in zhejiang. Although the economic development ofInner Mongolia in recent years remarkable, but in the industrial structure of energy,metallurgy, the proportion of high market risk big problems have been known. Luxurydata hard to mask the embarrassment of Inner Mongolia, unable to get rid of the "energycurse" Inner Mongolia, its basic area sentiment is still "less developed".This article through to the energy consumption and economy development and mining tomanufacturing "crowding out" theory research, based on Inner Mongolia energyproduction, energy consumption and GDP growth of empirical research, this paperdiscusses the energy production and energy consumption in Inner Mongolia in theeconomy development of different functions.
