Communication objects and needs analysis includes:identifying the stakeholders of the project and assigning the owners of project work to determine communication objects and their information needs; and then making project responsibility matrix and communication interface list, so that work owner can find stakeholders who can help them on the work from the responsibility matrix, communication interface list sets the content of the communication and obstacle between different stakeholders and strategy of obstacle elimination. Communication channels and technology analysis mainly focuses on the communication form and channels in internal and external communication and the different project stages, and different communication technology and media used.Then, Project communication plan is worked out according to above analysis. For convenience of express, the writer use 5W idea to design the project communication plan table, which defines communication object, information format, communication time and ways. Added by communication target and principle and some accessories, we get the communication plan. Project manager uses this plan to guide project communication activities.The research achievement of this paper:equipment upgrade project communication planning templates is expressed by using a picture to describe above process. This template may be suitable for the similar IC packaging plant which has more equipment upgrade request, and the equipment function is relatively independent. At the same time, these projects should be small projects and the project managers are acting by technical engineers.
