Continuous, efficient and agile R&D competence is the lifeline of high-tech enterprises. The most important feature of high-tech enterprises is technology innovation and their growth are also relied on new technology and high value-added products.New product development as an important form of business innovation, is achieved by many different subjects.These subjects are often scattered in different functional areas of a organization, some are even across organizational boundaries.It is important for the subjects to collaborate with each other. Improving the level of collaboration between teams and enhancing the capabilities of new product development have became an important way to improve the core competitiveness for high-tech enterprises.More and more enterprises adopt this flexible arrangements of multi-team collaborative design in NPD activities. Multi-team systems (MTS) is the theory which proposed to make a deep research about the interactions among teams.In this paper, we focus on the NPD Multi-team systems of high-tech enterprise and propose a process model of Multi-team systems collaboration which based on the review of MTS thoery and the investigation of NPD activities of high-tech enterprises.We identified two process of MTS collaboration:transition process collaboration and action process collabortion.Then,we constructed three-dimensional structural equation model for the two process respectively.Task analysis,goal setting and strategy formulation constitute the transition process collaboration model. Target monitoring,system monitoring and support reaction constitute the action process collaboration model.Then, we determine the dimensions and structure of the model through a small sample test and a preliminary exploratory factor analysis.In the following formal investigation, we examine the reliability and validity of transition process collaboration model and action process collaboration model as well as evaluate the goodness of model,using confirmatory factor analysis approach.In addition, this paper also examined the relationship between transition process collaboration action process collaboration. Finally, in the conclusion and prospect part, the thesis sums up the conclusions Systematically,and propose some suggestions. Then, the thesis analyzes the limitations, as well as the prospects for further research.
