Since the 1970s, the center of world’s economy has constantly changed to the service trade, the development and competitiveness of the service trade has become the focus of all the countries in the world. Having the profit advantage of achieving high efficiency with low power consumption in the division of industry value chain, service trade has gradually become the key factor of foreign trade considering the sustainability and coordination for all the countries. At the same time, the experiences of developed countries and the countries who have a high level of service trade show that the development and level of service trade is not only reflected on the growth of volume, the upgrading of the structure of service trade is more important. The improvement of service structure trade can enhance the efficiency of resource allocation and thus improve the quality of service trade. Especially for China whose service trade started late and service trade imbalance performed obviously, the study and discussion on development and influent factors of service trade structure plays an great theoretical and practical role.Firstly, this paper summarized the related research literatures on service trade in the perspective of development features, influencing factors and the relationship with economic growth, summarizing and analyzing the inadequacies of existing research result. Secondly, this paper elaborates the contains of service trade structure and points out the theoretical basis and the measurement of the structural imbalance of service trade. Basing on the analysis of dynamic change and development characteristics, this paper measures the imbalance level of China’s service trade structure, taking the developed countries as the frame reference. What’s more, this paper selects the influencing factors of service trade structure to do the empirical research from the perspective of the factors of production, the demand conditions, the related supporting industry and the business strategy and competitiveness. Last but not least, the paper makes the suggestion of optimizating service trade structure and enhancing the quality of service trade, in the basis of the results of the empirical research.
